Sweetheart Dance Always a Success

For nearly 15 years, Firehouse Quilts has proudly donated quilts to attendees of the Sweetheart Dance. This special event is hosted by the Highlands Ranch Therapeutic Program, whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals of all ages with special needs.

On February 27, FHQ contributed quilts, bags, pillowcases, stuffed toys, wall hangings, and table runners for the celebration. Summer A., the program’s director, shared, “Thanks to FHQ’s amazing generosity, each of the 68 attendees left with one of their fun and festive creations.”

In addition to the Sweetheart Dance, the program offers a wide range of enriching activities, including gym classes, swimming, weight lifting, arts, hiking, archery, and horseback riding.

From fabric to finished pieces, each creation carries a little extra love. Thank you to our volunteers for making a difference, one stitch at a time.
