South Sub Church Donates Quilts
A small quilting group from South Sub Church in Littleton has graciously volunteered to donate quilts to Firehouse Quilts. The quilters have been working together at the church for more than 40 years and include a second-generation quilter.
Carol C., the group leader, reached out to Firehouse Quilts because they had extra quilts they wanted to find homes for. The group currently donates quilts to people who were previously incarcerated and are establishing new homes, as well as to families living in Tijuana.
The quilters rely on donated fabric and have a well-stocked closet with fabric and other supplies. They meet once a week to create their quilts and enjoy working together as a group.
Firehouse Quilts is grateful to welcome this dedicated group of quilters to our volunteer family!
