Since 1985, Shiloh House has worked with emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth to teach them life skills and provide them with an education. A new home in Longmont recently opened that will house the kids thanks to a grant through the Colorado Department of Human Services. This location will provide long-term residential care for high needs youth. There will be more staff available, so the children aren’t sent out of Colorado for care as in the past.
Firehouse Quilts donated eight bed sized quilts to Shiloh on January 28 to dress up the rooms in the home. Ryan P accepted the quilts with much appreciation.
