A delivery of 40 quilts was made by Jacque S and her family on March 26 to Kim and Corrine, representatives of Mountain Resource Center in Conifer. They are currently preparing for free summer camps for 6 to 9-year-olds. The children will meet for a week and learn about art, music, mindfulness of others and make new friends.
The MRS has served mountain communities since 1990 by assisting with housing expenses, utilities, food, and gas vouchers. Individual case management is offered to their clients pointing them to the proper agencies for assistance with health appointments and job training. Mountain Resource also supports Veterans with their finances and plans social events to connect them with other Vets in the community.
