The Mountain Resource Center in Conifer believes that their communities should be healthy, secure, and connected. They provide Jefferson and Park counties with emergency services such as housing and utility services, childhood education, mental health aid, Veteran services, and healthy food through their Food Share Market.
Clients can meet with counselors to discuss their needs and acquire assistance in navigating how to move forward with their lives.
In addition to the Food Share Market, Mountain Resource has a mobile van that can visit those who are unable to travel. Shelli, the Community Health Advisor received 50 quilts, 6 afghans, 15 pillowcases, 15 Christmas stockings, 26 hats and scarves, and 12 stuffed toys from FHQ member, Jacque.
