At our recent Volunteer Appreciation event, volunteers of Firehouse Quilts of Colorado graciously agreed to help piece an original block representing a firehouse. The Firehouse Block was designed by Bonnie G., who also assembled personally chosen fabrics and put them together into kits.
Over twenty blocks were sewn, along with a unique Colorado block. Together these blocks will make several “snuggle-size” quilts and will be shared with children who receive donated quilts from Firehouse Quilts. It was a team effort by all and shows the dedication and generosity of the FHQ volunteers.
The layout and a picture of the Firehouse Block are included and are free for you to use. Download directions here.
