On June 3rd ChildSafe held their annual Celebration of Healing gala event in Fort Collins, at the CSU Rams stadium. This event raises proceeds that will go to providing treatment for survivors of childhood abuse. There was a dinner, awards, speakers, paddle raise auction, a silent auction, and live entertainment. During the event Firehouse Quilts and Northern Colorado Quilters received the "Champions for ChildSafe" Award in recognition of the thousands of quilts that have been donated to clients of ChildSafe for over ten years. It was a big surprise and an honor to be recognized by this wonderful organization. Thank you to Sara for being the contact person with FHQ for many years.
