FIREHOUSE QUILTS

OF COLORADO, INC.

Firehouse Quilts is Grateful for Their Members

The members of Firehouse Quilts are treated once a year to an Appreciation Event to acknowledge their dedication for making an abundance of quilts throughout the year. This event was held at Roxborough Community Center on June 6 and 7.

The members enjoyed the gorgeous scenery outside the windows as they sewed for two days on personal, as well as FHQ projects. There are door prizes and thank you gifts given as appreciation for their hard work. A dinner of Qdoba was served on Friday evening and the leftovers were enjoyed on Saturday.

This amazing group of women makes nearly 2,000 quilts a year, in addition to the many pillowcases, Christmas stockings, assorted baby items, and bags. Without these generous ladies, Firehouse Quilts wouldn’t be able to continue their mission of donating quilts to children and patients in crisis across Colorado.
