Firehouse Quilts Brings Comfort to ChildSafe Colorado

On June 23, 2026, Firehouse Quilts volunteer Sara V. delivered 80 quilts to ChildSafe Colorado in Fort Collins. These quilts will be given to children and families receiving services, offering comfort, warmth, and reassurance during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
ChildSafe Colorado's mission is to break the cycle and heal the trauma resulting from childhood abuse and neglect through specialized treatment, education, and community outreach.
Since 1986, ChildSafe Colorado has helped children, adults, and families find a path toward healing after abuse and neglect. Originally established to provide a comprehensive response to child sexual abuse, the organization became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1998, allowing it to pursue grant funding and expand services for the growing number of clients with limited financial resources.
Firehouse Quilts is honored to support the important work of ChildSafe Colorado. We are grateful to our volunteers whose time, talent, and generosity make donations like this possible. Together, we continue to provide not only quilts, but also a tangible reminder that someone cares.
