Comfort Carts at Craig Hospital

On September 17, Barbara C. delivered 17 quilts and 23 pillowcases to Abby, our contact at Craig Hospital. The quilts that were delivered were colorful and cheery.

Our pillowcases will now be handed out in a new manner. Craig has just started a new "Comfort Cart" system, where this cart is taken to patient's rooms ... with some comfort items for them to select from. Items such as shampoo and conditioner, toothbrushes, chapstick, slippers and our pillowcases. Each patient is now able to select the pillowcase they'd like.

Feedback from patients is that the pillowcases are so much more comfortable than the hospital's and the fact that they may select their own makes it much more personal!
