A Mother with Three Children Finds Safety and Comfort

On Friday, February 6, Barbara C delivered 15 lap size and 40 snuggle quilts to Stephanie of Three Birds Alliance. Stephanie laughed when she saw them all and said she now had motivation to clean out a large closet that has needed attention for quite some time. Storing these quilts is much more important!
Recently, a mother with three children arrived at Three Birds in need of safety and was thrilled to find a warm and cheery quilt waiting for her. As she and Stephanie set up Pack ’n Plays for the children, they discovered that the Firehouse quilts fit perfectly in the bottom. Not only were the children now in a safe place, but they also had colorful, fun quilts to comfort and entertain them.
What we sometimes think of as little things truly make a big difference in the lives of those Firehouse Quilts of Colorado supports.
