Denver Police Department is a New Client

Jeanne L, a member of FHQ, attended a Women's Community Academy with the Denver Police Department in February. Her niece is a police officer with this department and invited Jeanne to observe a training. After the training she talked with Tyronne C, Executive Director of CallBox training, about the quilts that are made and donated by FHQ. He was so interested in the mission of Firehouse Quilts that he asked to be included immediately.

On March 10th Jeanne made a donation of 31 quilts to Tyronne, Virginia and Michelle at the police academy. The quilts will be given to six of the patrol districts, including the airport and made available to children who are infants to ten years old and are dealing with emotional stress.

We are happy to be able to provide quilts to the Denver Police Department.
